Ocular Pharmacology: A Conglomeration of New Ideas, New Uses, Old Drugs and Old Topics

The field of ocular pharmacology is changing all the time. New drugs come out, old drugs are used in new ways, off-label drugs are used for old topics, new uses of old drugs are found.  This lecture is meant to provide a review of interesting new drugs coming to our practices, and reviewing potential new off-label uses of older drugs, as well as some miscellaneous topics/questions the author has had in his career. What kind of medications might be at our disposal soon and the practical pharmacology and clinical use of these drugs will be focused on in this lecture.
