Act 31 (Mandated Child Abuse Reporting Training)

Our opening program will be your required Act 31 Mandated Child Abuse Reporting Training course presented by Amy Blackman of the Crime Victim Center of Erie County, Inc. Amy presented this program in Erie at our Spring Congress in April 2024 and was very well received.

For your information, the PA State Board of Optometry has released a Statement of Policy that live virtual courses and programs with real-time (synchronous) video and audio communication are considered by the Board as live, in-person, continuing education. This course, as well as all our live webinar courses, will meet that criteria. All of our pre-recorded courses will be allocated toward the 15 hours of asynchronous courses allowed.
